Sales Coordinator

  1. Job Summary

    This position is responsible for providing the necessary support to the sales team by being the point of contact for both customers and internal team. Included are the functions of arranging sales meetings, managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information to both customers and internal departments.

  2. Job Duties
    • Coordinates with prospective clients and arrange sales meetings. Associated function is to write or get-written Minutes of Meeting for further actions and records.

    • Coordinates with sales team/s by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information and follow-ups.

    • Establishes active communication and engagement with sales representatives to ensure that orders are processed promptly.

    • Collaborates with other departments to ensure sales, marketing, addressing complaints & queries, and timely deliveries to customers.

    • Prepares and follows up on sales quotations prepared for clients.

    • Answers customer queries, informing them of delays, arranging delivery dates, and scheduling marketing events.

    • Handles urgent calls, emails, and messages when Sales Representatives are unavailable.

    • Coordinates with Production Department for billing and transport of products (dispatches)

    • Maintains inventory of sales materials, e.g Point of Purchase (POP) & Point of Sales (POS) consisting of brochures, promotional items, product samples, etc. Connected function is to ensure that all sales representatives have an adequate inventory of these materials on-hand. Added function is to place orders for these materials as needed.

    • Arranges for the shipping of sales materials for trade shows or conferences.

    • Maintains Order Conversion with the help of Sales and other Analytics.

    • Makes travel arrangements with hotels and airlines/railways, etc. for sales representatives attending conferences, trade shows and meetings.

  1. Job Summary

    This position is responsible to ensure the products and processes fulfill quality standards, meet safety regulations, and satisfy client expectations. Included are the functions to monitor the quality of incoming, WIP, and Finished Products of T&B®. Moreover, to ensure materials by conforming to specifications by conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

  2. Job Duties
    • Carries out inspection as per quality control plan at all stages: (Inward of Raw Material, In process and Final Stage)

      • Inspects incoming raw material to ensure proper surface finish, dimensional accuracy and material grade.

      • Inspects parts at different stages of production to achieve interchange ability by keeping the tolerances within the limit. 

      • Conducts final Inspection and pressure test (Air & Hydro test) of assembled valves to assure the Quality as desired by the customer.

    • Responsible for product identification, traceability, and test status.

    • Prepares and maintains list of measuring instruments based on product and process requirements

    • Ensures all the measuring instruments and gauges are calibrated periodically and maintains records for the same.

    • Works with purchasing staff to ensure quality requirements from vendors/suppliers are met.

    • Evaluates Vendors’ Performance from time to time, as agreed with the Production Head.

    • Coordinates with external parties like testing lab and calibration labs for test certificates.

    • Provides clear and unambiguous inputs to external service providers and also specifies output measurables.

    • Coordinates with the sub-contractor/s on the quality of the items/products, which include preparing debit note and providing gauges, whenever required.

    • Ensures all the debit notes are handed over to the accounts team for billing purposes

    • Collects from the Design Team drawings required for inspection.

    • Understands final customer requirements and ensure product compliance for Finished Products.

    • Ensures all the requisite documents and records pertaining to quality assurance remain updated at all times.

    • Measures performance, identifies any areas of development opportunities and recommends improvements for implementation.

    • Identifies training needs and the effectiveness in the QC department.

    • Authorizes the CAPA and follows up if CAPA is effective.
