Jr. Sales Coordinator

Job Duties

  • Ensure accurate preparation and verification of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
  • Oversee item code creation and maintenance within the inventory system.
  • Regularly review stock statements for raw materials, components, forgings, and finished goods.
  • Perform daily physical stock review for quantity, quality, identification & traceability daily after last transactions.
  • Ensure proper availability and storage of all materials.
  • Review and determine minimum stock/reorder levels for various materials.
  • Review and approve daily received challans and cross-verify quantity.
  • Assign work to stores assistants.
  • Prepare and present stock statements to statutory auditors as required.
  • Verify and keep control on issued and received material; ensure all material is recorded with Heat/Batch numbers based on work orders and made available to QC for certification purposes.
  • Monitor appropriate housekeeping of stores as a whole.
  • Maintain a detailed Excel register of all storage locations for quick and efficient material retrieval.
  • Ensure unidentified material is marked as “awaiting inspection” with tags mentioning challan, supplier, material, and quantity.
  • Promptly coordinate with the QC team for material inspection.

Job/Knowledge Requirements

  • Graduate – BMS / B.Com
  • 8–10 years of experience in stores/inventory in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the valve industry.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

Skill Requirement

  • Strong understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP software
  • Ability to lead the team
  • Excellent communication skills
